Any Longrifle Venison?
Well, the Ontario ML season came and went and I never even got out!
Between work, running around to do a truck deal and bad weather, it just never came together.
Anyone else been more fortunate? Any traditionally harvested venison in your freezer?

Nothing here. I Hunted hard every day.
I have permission on 4 farms.
All four have their corn off and fields plowed.
Thousands of farmers got caught with this snow and still have acres and acres of corn
still up. So while there is nothing to eat for them of the farms that I have permission,
there is tons on all the neighboring farms. No deer to shoot at equals and empty freezer.
I did shoot two during the archery season so my freezer really isn't empty and I still have the
rest of the month to put one more in there. I plan on ording a smoothbore rifle kit from Sitting Fox
in the next few days. That way I can visit the BARON this spring and he can show me how to smoke a turkey.
